Equipment Theft

Hello Members,

We were recently made aware of an undesirable trend that is taking place again within the Chapter 9 area, Houston and surrounding counties, as well as the Chapter 5 area, Dallas and surrounding counties.

It was brought to our attention that over the course of the last several weeks, a minimum of 4 Surveying companies have been broken into and had large amounts of field equipment stolen!

I am hoping that by spreading awareness, we can collectively take the necessary steps to make sure our equipment is stored securely and mainly that we remain vigilant as a community, so that we can report any suspicious activity to authorities and stop this rash of thefts that our impacting our Surveying community.
