Rules of Engagement

Put your creativity to the test at the 2026 Symposium North Arrow Contest!

Contest Guidelines:

• North Arrow must be hand drawn on paper no larger than letter size (8.5” x 11”).

• Entries may be brought in person to Symposium or mailed to the TSPS office, arriving no later than March 11, 2026.

  • If mailed, a completed entry form must be included.

• One entry per person.

• No personal identifiers may appear on the North Arrow (no last names, company names, logos, etc.).

• Each in-person Symposium attendee will receive one ticket to vote for their favorite North Arrow.

• We will collect donations for the Top 3 prize winners, so bring something fun or unique to contribute (examples: belt buckle, knife, old monument, merch, or other creative items — let’s have fun with it!).

Important Dates:

• Voting ends: Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 9:45 AM

  • Must be present at Symposium to win.

• Awards announced: Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 12:00 PM at Symposium.

Note: Characters and accessories added to the North Arrow must not be obscene or offensive.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations made 60 days or more before the event date will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made within 30 days will receive a 50% refund.

Cancellations made within 14 days of the event will not receive a refund.
