Associate/Surveyor in Training

Any person:

• registered as a Surveyor in Training or any graduate of a recognized school of higher education who intends to become a surveyor, or;
• who has been surveying for a minimum of four years, or;
• who has two years of surveying experience and has completed at least two years in a recognized school of higher education.

Associate and Surveyor in Training members shall be eligible to vote but not to hold any office in the State Society other than Director; or be President of a local chapter.  

Annual Dues: $70.00; optional $50 to NSPS

Annual membership runs a calendar year, January 1 - December 31. Chapter dues are complimentary the first year of membership and 10% of annual dues thereafter.

NSPS MEMBERSHIP - Since 2015, TSPS has participated in the 100% membership program with NSPS. In 2019, the TSPS membership approved the amended Articles of Affiliation (AOA) with NSPS to include the annual dues of $50 for Registered members. The $50 membership with NSPS is optional but available for other TSPS member categories. Student members of TSPS may join NSPS for an annual dues of $10.

Dues are not deductible as charitable contributions, however, they may be deducted as a trade or business expense. Nine percent (9%) of your TSPS dues and 10% of your NSPS dues are to be used for lobbying activities and therefore are not deductible. Consult your tax advisor.
