John “Frank” Newman, 66, of Midland, Texas, RPLS No. 5011, passed away on February 3, 2026. Frank was born to John Taylor Newman and Margaret Speed on October 22, 1959, in Odessa, Texas. He graduated from Odessa High School in 1978. Frank became a Registered Professional Land Surveyor on December 11, 1992. He was an owner and principal of West Company of Midland before retiring in 2015 to enjoy traveling and spending time at his ranch.

Frank enjoyed photography and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Newman; his son, Taylor Newman; and his sister, Mitzie Shoemake.
