In Memoriam: Tony Trujillo, RPLS #5358

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Tony Trujillo, RPLS #5358—a valued member of the Texas surveying community and a dedicated public servant.

Tony will be profoundly missed by both Reeves County and the broader Texas surveying profession. Known for his integrity, generosity, and deep knowledge of the land, Tony was always willing to lend a hand or share his expertise. For those of us who had the privilege of working in Reeves County or its neighboring areas, following Tony’s survey work was both a pleasure and a learning experience. He was a man of his word and a professional in every sense.

Beyond his work in surveying, Tony served multiple terms as a County Commissioner for Reeves County. In recognition of his service, the county will honor his memory by flying their flags at half-mast until the evening of his funeral.
