Along with TSPS Chapter 5 President John (JT) Truong RPLS, Chris Freeman, RPLS, we've been working with Richland College for the last few years developing an apprenticeship program for surveying. Yesterday, we were privileged to meet with John Kuznar, US Department of Labor and the President of Richland College Dr. Kay Eggleston and Celes L Oppedahl, Dean Student Success, Garland ISD, and Paul Mayer, Garland Chamber of Commerce, among others to start the process of establishing the first true Apprenticeship program in surveying. We can't thank those helping with this enough, it's been a long time coming and we are really looking forward to getting our first students through the program.
