Shirley Cardenas Ellett, 85, passed away April 13, 2018 in Houston Texas. She is survived by her husband, James Ellett, RPLS, of 61 years of marriage. Daughters, Janice Knott (Steve) and Darlene Mataway (Tom). Four grandchildren, Phillip Mataway (Ashlee), Michael Knott, Sarah Mataway and Frank Knott. Two great grandchildren, Makenzie and Jacob Mataway and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a long-time member of St. John UCC. She was a loving wife, mom and devoted Oma and will be greatly missed. The family is grateful for the caregivers at The Cottage of Spring Branch and Compassus Hospice.
