Chapter 5 Hosts Texas Senate Candidate at February Meeting

Phillip Huffines (R) was the Chapter 5 - Dallas guest on Tuesday Feb 13, 2018, and spoke to the chapter about his running for Texas Senate District 8. He is a land developer and his family owns car dealerships in the North Texas area; he has a thorough understanding of the challenges facing surveyors. He spoke on issues of transportation and infrastructure as well as border security (the wall) among other issues. There was a great crowd of surveyors and a few engineers.

The Primary Election is March 6, 2018.
