Speaker: Kenneth Gold
Boundaries, Ethically Determined - Part Four Webinar taught by Kenneth G. Gold, RPLS
The original eight-hour seminar explored the intertwined rules, laws, and ethics at play when planning and proposing for a sizable land surveying project. It included many “what to do” and “need to know” ethical and legal advisories, along with “what not to do” cautions. Some ethical rules explored include those of the former TBPLS still in effect.
Part 4: Two-hours
The final webinar explores the surveyor’s quandary when faced with apparent “squatter’s rights” in various forms that will likely involve limitation title and need for adverse possession. Also touched on are the Las Sieta Partidas and water boundaries. Then on to a bit on the gradient boundary, certifications, the ethics primer, and finishing up the RFP. Time allowing, a condensed and quick review.
