It is with a saddened heart to which I inform you all of the passing of our long-time legal counsel and legislative lobbyist Mark Hanna on Friday, May 23, 2025.

We have also received the following comments from his paralegal this morning, “Mr. Hanna was truly honored to have represented TSPS and its members over the years.  He cared a great deal about the surveying profession and the team he worked with so closely over the years.  He very much appreciated the opportunity to represent TSPS’ legislative interests, as well as licensure issues.”

Mark has been a great friend and asset to the surveying profession and TSPS as a whole.  Throughout the years he has served us with his presence and wise counsel. He will be greatly missed.  Our hearts and prayers go out to Mark’s family as they cope with their loss.
