In Memoriam - NSPS Mourns Loss of Jim Coan

It is with great sadness that we share with you the news that NSPS Director (WA) Jim Coan passed away on August 8.

It is difficult to express the level of love and respect for Jim that exists among all of us in NSPS and among his peers, especially the members of the Land Surveyors Association of Washington in which he was very active. He truly was “one of the good guys”, always eager to volunteer his knowledge and his time, to help anyone, and to participate with all of his energy. As we join Jim’s family in mourning the loss the we feel, we will each also always remember fondly our beloved “brother”.
