TBPELS PAKS Survey

The Professional Activities and Knowledge Study (PAKS) survey is the first and most important step in the development process for the state-specific exam for RPLS that will supplement the National Council of Engineers and Surveyors (NCEES) Principles and Practice of Surveying (PS) exam. The PAKS process is used to ensure that the exam is relevant to current practice in the profession. An invitation will be sent from TBPELS on July 27, 2021, to all active RPLS who are registered in Texas. Results from the survey will be used to develop the test specifications for the Texas state-specific RPLS exam. Any questions should be directed to info@pels.texas.gov.
