Help support the surveying industry and join TSPS for Legislative Day at the Texas Capitol.

Participants will meet with legislators at pre-planned appointments to bring an important issue identified by the Governmental Affairs Committee.

 9:00 – 9:45 am

 Continental Breakfast & Briefing

Steven Freeman, President & Governmental Affairs Chair and Mark Hanna, TSPS Lobbyist, will review the TSPS Legislative Agenda’s talking points in preparation for meetings with legislators and their staffs.

TBPELS Executive Director Lance Kinney will join the group briefly.

 Team Meetings with Legislators / Staff

Please contact your State Senator & Representative in advance to make an appointment to meet with them. Click here to identify who your legislators are and how to contact them.

As their constituent, they will want to visit with you. Ask for a few minutes of their time to speak about issues important to Texas surveyors. Be sure to forward confirmed appointments to trena@tsps.org.
