The Southern Boundary of the Unites States (4 CEU’s)

Born out of the politics of the Mexican American war and cultural aspects of Manifest Destiny, the Southern Border has always been a topic of intrigue. This seminar will highlight the treaties that described the border sight unseen and the surveyors and the surveying that was required to make it work. Through the littorals of the Rio Grande River to the setting of monuments across some of the most unhospitable land of the American Southwest. Attendees will obtain a further appreciation of following the footsteps.

Professional Ethics (4 CEU’s)
Speaker: Robert Tamez, RPLS

This course covers issues dealing with business and professional practices that can be considered “grey areas” of questionable ethics. As we discuss various examples of practical situations, you will find yourself wondering what is in fact the best solution for situations that one runs into on a daily basis. This practical approach to discussing the subject matter is sure to keep you engaged, interested, and entertained as we roll play a handful of skits to find out what is the ethical and appropriate action in various situation.
