Professor Marina is the Program Director of the Land Surveying Technology Department at Lone Star Community College. Born in Arecibo Puerto Rico. He holds a Bachelor in Sciences of Land Surveying and Topography from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Registered in Puerto Rico as a Professional Surveyor and in Texas as a Registered Professional Land Surveyor, with over 20 years of combined experience in Construction, Mapping, and Boundary Surveying. Awarded by the Professional College of Engineers and Land Surveyors of Puerto Rico as Emerging Leader in the Surveying Profession in 2016. From a family of educators, Nico has been involved in teaching since his early years in college. Very passionate about basketball, baseball, and percussion.
