The Texas Surveyors Foundation, Inc. (TSFI) was established to support charitable, educational, and scientific initiatives, including:
- Awarding scholarships and providing guidance to students pursuing education and training in the art and science of surveying
- Conducting and supporting educational programs in surveying and related fields
- Sharing valuable surveying information with the public
- Establishing and maintaining a surveying center
- Creating and preserving a library of reference materials and surveying records of current and historical significance
