RPLS & S-I-T STUDY GROUPS

The RPLS and SIT exam process can be a minefield, but now candidates no longer have to cross it alone.

The RPLS/SIT Study Groups sub-committee at TSPS, chaired by Jake Lupher, RPLS #6606, provides settings where paraprofessionals can be equipped to take the next step in their careers. The sub-committee organizes study groups in three metro regions: Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, and Austin.

For help studying for the RPLS Exam or the SIT Fundamentals of Surveying Exam (NCEES), contact:

There is no charge to participate in a study group.

Visit the TSPS Calendar for specific class dates.
Just reach out to the contact listed above in your area and let them know you would like to participate in a study group. They’ll take it from there.

For those who wish to join but are unable to travel to the study group, please let the group host know ahead of time as accommodations can usually be made. Additionally, online study groups are available for those unable to attend:

NCEES generates and administers the Fundamentals of Surveying Exam (SIT Exam). The exam is computer based, offered at testing centers around the nation, and offered year-round. For more information, visit the TBPELS website at https://pels.texas.gov/sit.htm or the NCEES site at http://www.ncees.org.
