John David Fisher

October 22, 1959 - August 16, 2024

John David Fisher, 64, of Houston, died Friday, August 16, 2024 at his home. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron. Burial will be the Liberty Community Cemetery.

Mr. Fisher, a retired surveyor, was born October 22, 1959 in Houston to Harold Blaine and Opal Belle (Blackmon) Fisher. A lifelong resident of the Houston area, he had worked for The Fisher Co., Inc. for over 20 years and several other Surveyor companies with Prime TX Surveying most recently. He was highly involved with Little League both as a coach and umpiring.

He was preceded in death by parents, former wife, Tami Carol (Nelson) Fisher, sisters, Dolores (Dodie) Wilkins and LaRaye Fisher, brothers, William Robert (Bill) Layne and Darrel Glenn Fisher, nephew, Sandon Marshall, and grandchild, Layton James Fisher. He is survived by:
