The TxDOT San Antonio District Survey Office is advertising for a Survey Specialist. The successful candidate will have experience analyzing field data from Data Collectors and developing Digital Terrain Models. Micro Station experience and familiarity with TxDOT ROW maps is a plus. We have an in house survey crew using robotic total station, GPS, and static LIDAR.
Requires 6 years’ experience in surveying or an SIT.
The successful candidate will be working under the direct supervision of an RPLS.
ENTRY TO MID-LEVEL INSTRUMENT PERSON
The TxDOT San Antonio District Survey Office is advertising for an entry to mid level Instrument person. The successful candidate will have experience running total stations with survey controllers and GPS data collection. Our in house everyday equipment includes a Trimble S6 total station with TSC3 survey controller, two R10 and two R8 GPS units, a digital level, and a Leica C10 Static scanner. These are full time field positions. We have an RPLS and Survey Specialists knowledgeable of this equipment and related software to offer any and all training necessary.
