AWARDS As of April 24, 2008, Chapter Presidents and Representatives should have each received at three email notices regarding the need for early nominations this year, as the awards ceremony will be shipboard.
To date, we have received four official nominations. There is still no nominee for Chapter President of the Year….
Respectfully submitted,
Paul Carey
PAST PRESIDENTS The Past Presidents Committee has not meet in this quarter but three Task Forces made up of Past-Presidents have met and continue to make progress.
Respectfully submitted, Bud Thompson
PRODUCT SALES The Committee has had two meetings since the last board meeting. We had great sales at this year’s Symposium. We sold over $4,000.00 in products, mostly books. Overall to date we have sold over $11,800.00. We have much more to go this year and I would like to make up for the loss of sales on the Cruise, by selling more at the Annual Auction and Strategic Planning. We have ordered more of the fishing shirts and at least one new color.
Respectfully submitted by: Bob Hysmith
SAFETY The Committee is Chaired by Chris Freeman, and includes Richard Worthey and Mike Bearden as members. The Committee is always open for other members.
The Committee is reviewing multiple sources of information, and will continue to work closely with the Public Relations Committee in the compilation and updating of information, and the eventual organization of the material. The overall goal is to offer to the Society via the TSPS website a Member only link to a library of Safety information that can be utilized by both business owners and employees alike. A target date of July 25 has been set for submittal to TSPS.
The Committee is also receptive to any Executive Board directive regarding the subject, and encourages any and all within the TSPS membership for their contributions and suggestions.
Respectfully submitted to the TSPS Board and all members,
Chris Freeman, RPLS Committee Chairman
