MEMBERSHIP The membership committee has been working with the GIS committee to come up with a new category for TSPS membership for geospatial membership. This has been sent to TSPS Board members and will be discussed and voted on at the next TSPS Board meeting.
New members are encouraged at all levels and with the synergism between the GIS and Membership committees, we are striving to accomplish more members at all levels to help our society grow, prosper, and embrace more diversification.
There is still desire to coordinate with the GIS committee and others to address the GIS community and do our best to help
Respectfully Submitted,
Robert L. Young
PRODUCT SALES The Committee has had three meetings since the last board meeting. Sales for February, March and April, 2007 are at $7,530.00 which includes 1 RPLS Survey ring. With Doug’s help I sold almost $3,300.00 dollars worth of products at Symposium on South Padre Island. The new fishing shirts have been a big success. I will be bringing products to the annual Ray Wisdom Auction and BBQ. Also I will have a new item to promote at the Auction. The Capital Area Chapter, (my Chapter) has bought this new item to be auctioned off for TSFI and Surpac. I will have a “booth” set up as usual.
