	ADMinistrative Affairs Division CONSTITUTION & BYLAWS Members of this committee: Charlie Holland, Jerry Cutts No activity this Quarter Respectfully Submitted Charlie Holland January 14, 2008 NOMINATING The Vacancy of the 2^nd Vice-Presidents office was administered by the Chairman and Past Chair by taking nominations from board members. Four Members were nominated: In alphabetical order: Michael Evans Lynn Savory Robert Seipel John Watson Subsequently a ballot was delivered to the board members. The vote was taken and ballots forwarded to the Teller who made the official count. The Teller informed the Executive Committee that the successful candidate was John Watson. The technology committee has not met formally but has had phone conversations to deal with the issues. 1. Inventory existing technology (computer, projector, camera, digital audio recorder and associated hardware and software) used by staff and members in support of the society goals. 2. Consult with IT staff regarding equipment and proposed electronic load involved with new initiatives related to online education, electronic committee support and improved member services. 3. Inventory software used by staff to perform technical tasks. Assess suitability to task, licensing, updates and efficiency. 4. Itemize recommended solutions for board consideration. There will be further developments once all inventory and consultation with IT is completed.
