There has been no activity by the GIS Committee since the last Board Meeting.  Our committee will continue to pursue the following three objectives for 2007:

1)     Work with Membership Committee to recruit GIS members and investigate possible GIS Membership Category.

2)     Work with the Government Affairs committee to include GIS in the definition of surveying and draft legislation regarding a disclaimer on certain mapping products that appear to represent property boundaries (such as Appraisal Maps).
