BOARD MEETING DATE: August 14, 2004      
 

CHAPTER ACTIVITY REPORT

Our chapter meetings have been consisting of a focus on the following topics:

1) The nominations for new officers have been approved and will take effect in September, 2004. A list will be sent to the state organization by e:mail.

2) Strategic Planning Board meeting discussed and input for ideas and focus for the up and coming years TSPS.

3) 2^nd Quarterly Board meeting events discussed

Our chapter activities and special events are as follows:

1) Our meetings are on the first Thursday of every month at the Golden Corral restaurant in Lufkin. Our dinner is at 7:00 P.M. and our meeting with various guest speakers is at 8:00 P.M.. Our attendance has been low due to vacations and other summer activities. Average 7-10 members.

2) The auction items we donated netted about $95 for TSFI scholarship funds.

3) Plans are in the make for next years activities at this time.
